The proceedings of the «Readings in Memory of B. N. Melnichenko and S. E. Trifonov» have been published.
The collection contains the articles and abstracts presented on the First International Scientific Conference of Thai Scholars «Readings in Memory of B. N. Melnichenko and S. E. Trifonov». It took place on May 20-21, 2021 at Faculty of Asian and African Studies of St. Petersburg State University.
Editorial board of the collection includes executive editor Ms. Aliia Khabibullina, editors Mr. Mikhail Ignatiev and Dr. Natcheewan Mekratanakulpat. Associated professors of SPbU Sergey Dmitrienko and Natalia Spatar (Department of South East Asia Philology) became reviewers of the collection.
The articles presented on the Readings concern a wide range of problems connected with languages, history, literature and culture of Thailand and Laos. The Readings were held with the support of the Honorary Consulate General of the Kingdom of Thailand in St. Petersburg.
